The following apply to all sales of products supplied by STIK Computers. Please make sure you read and acknowledge all T&C's as there are no refunds unless proven to be faulty at the time of sale.

SALE OF SYSTEMS AND PARTS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

      

1     Agreement of purchase

a.         The goods will not exchange hands to the buyer unless payment from the customer is cleared in full by STIK Computers.

b.         Payment of goods is strictly Cash (Prior to pickup or delivery) unless agreed otherwise by STIK Computers and on invoice.

c.         Credit card details may be used to guarantee payment of goods before delivery.

d.         Payments by credit card will attract a surcharge of 3%, which is non-refundable.

e.         Deposits are taken by STIK Computer’s discretion. If a deposit is not paid, the customer’s order may take longer to process than usual and may not be guaranteed until received.

 

2     Warranty

a.          All NEW systems sold by STIK Computers come with a limited 1 year labour warranty. Extended warranty is also available for standard systems.

b.         After the 1 year warranty cover by STIK Computers, all parts must be returned to manufacturer OR distributor for warranty claims.

c.          Warranty DOES NOT COVER system errors or damages caused by viruses.

d.         Customer's warranties MUST be accompanied by a receipt provided by STIK Computers at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse any items or systems that are returned without the correct receipt.

e.          All systems and/or parts returned to STIK Computers for restocking must be returned with the correct box, parts (cables, stands etc) and manual(s). If these requirements are not met, restocking fees may apply.

f.           Customers that over-clock systems or parts that do not meet manufacturer's standards or factory settings do so at their own risk and VOIDS all warranty thereafter.

g.         Repairs or replacements do not re-start or extend the warranty period. All parts and/or systems will continue their remainder of the warranty period.

h.         All warranty services are done with great care. STIK Computers are not liable for any data lost during these procedures. It is the responsibility of the customer to backup all data prior to bringing in the goods.

i.           Warranty will become void if STIK Computers detect physical damage, burnt out chipsets or components that are due to the customer's mishandling or inappropriate use. Barcodes MUST be in original condition and should not be taken off, rubbed or drawn/written on in any way or this will void the warranty as well.

j.           Warranty does not cover other goods that are damaged while using in conjunction with the goods supplied by STIK Computers.

k.         Warranty does not cover damages that are caused by power surges, power failures or any other spontaneous events. It is up to the customer to prepare for these types of events with the correct equipment. It is STIK Computer’s STRICT DISCRETION wether to replace or warranty the damaged product(s).

l.           If an item is under warranty that requires replacing is not available, the customer will be provided with an equivalent product or the option to upgrade at STIK Computer's discretion.

m.        Most parts are affixed with a serial number (etched or in sticker form). If a serial number label (etched or sticker) is damaged, modified or tampered with, STIK Computers reserve the right to refuse warranty of the product as per manufacturer’s standards.       

 


 

COMPUTER SERVICING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  

The following apply to all services supplied by STIK Computers. Please make sure you read and acknowledge all T&C's as there are penalties that apply if they are not met.

      

1     Agreement of service

a.          Services will not commence unless initial payment is received and cleared by STIK Computers

b.          Payment of service is required prior or within five (5) working days after the invoiced or due date.

c.          Payments may be made by cash, direct deposit or credit card. Cheques are also welcome but must clear for the service  to re-commence. Credit cards may attract a transaction fee of 3~5%

d.          The customer is welcome to rely on other methods of service for their machines but STIK Computers will not be liable or responsible for any damages or loss of data incurred during that time or period.

e.          Call-out requests made outside of the regular schedule will be counted and deducted from the monthly allowance depending on the initial agreement. This may incur additional fees. Monthly allowances are noted below.

f.          As out technicians take greatest of care to service and repair your machines, it is not our liability when the data inside the serviced system is lost. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up data regularly.

g.         Scheduled maintenance and call out services do not cover all of the services STIK Computers provide. STIK Computers regularly service the hardware and the software that is required to run the hardware ONLY. The following are excluded from REGULAR maintenance.

      1.    Re-installation of Operating systems other than complete computer failure due to hardware malfunction.

      2.    Software specific problems (All software that are related with professions). In these cases you must contact the   specific software company to receive support.

h.         We (STIK Computers) are required by law to abide by copyright laws. We reserve the right to refuse the service of machine(s) that have pirated operating systems loaded. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND the use of legitimate licensed versions of operating systems as we are not liable for any damage or loss due to (or caused by) the use of pirated software.

      

2     Guaranteed Service

STIK Computers guarantee fortnightly scheduled checkups and the given number of monthly call-outs. Allowances are as follows and are dependant on the number of machines at the place of the customer’s site.

(*All units are based on a monthly period)

   *       1~5 Machines – 1 Regular check-up (Specified by customer), 2 Emergency call outs

   *       6~9 Machines – 2 Regular checkups (Specified by customer), 2 Emergency call outs

   *       10+ Machines – 2 Regular checkups (Specified by customer), 3 Emergency call outs

 

We also guarantee the following:

a.     On-site service of the machine.

b.     Pick-up and delivery of the faulty machine when requested.

c.     Total privacy and discretion of sensitive data.

 


 

  STIK COMPUTERS reserve the right to change specifications and pricing of patrts and systems at anytime. If an order is placed before the change, it is STIK COMPUTER's discretion to update the order or to process as is.
